What Volunteers Do

Super easy tasks:

• 🪟Take orders at the window
• 💳Run the POS (it’s simple)
• 🌭Prep small food items like hot dogs, nachos, pretzels
• 🧃Restock drinks and snacks
• 🧽Keep things clean and organized
• 🔑Help with opening or closing the stand

Shifts are now 2 hours.

Role Options

What a Shift Looks Like

Opening (10–15 minutes)

• 🧼Wash hands, glove up
• 🔥Turn on grill/warmers
• 🧴Restock drinks, condiments, cups
• 🧾Make sure register is ready

Game Time

• 😊Take orders with a smile
• 🌡️Keep food hot or cold
• 🔁Restock as needed
• ✨Quick clean-ups between tasks

Closing (10–15 minutes)

• ⏹️Turn off equipment
• 🧽Wipe down all surfaces
• 🧹Sweep and take out trash
• 📦Restock for the next shift

Food Safety Basics

• 🧴Handwash often
• 🧤Gloves for ready-to-eat food
• 🌡️Keep hot food 140°F+, cold food 41°F or below
• ❓Ask the Lead if unsure about allergens

POS Quick Guide

• 👉Tap the item → confirm → take payment
• 💵Cash and Card accepted
• 🗣️Always say the total and thank the guest

Teen Volunteers

• 🧑‍🍳Ages 15+ can help inside the stand.
• 🧒Younger kids can help outside with supervised tasks like trash pickup.
